-4 Level Program 

Motivating discussions and interactive activities are held on self worth, dignity, education, present and future goals, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy and hygiene. A registered nurse will lead discussions on health related topics. Successful women in the community will assist with topics relating to education, goals and life planning.

Parenting Workshops

Provide parents with guidance on how to best communicate with their daughters based on feedback from the group discussions.

Confidentiality between the girls and the

staff will be kept unless the well being of the girl is at risk.

Summer Escape Mentoring Program

This program is designed to have teenage girls serve as a trusted counselor to girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 11yrs old.

The program activities consent of:

Field Trips

The adult and teen counselors will lead discussions on  the following topics "Showing respect for self and others", "Safety", "Bullies", and "The Environment," they will conclude with exploring city attractions and discovering it's relation to the day's lesson.

Tutoring Services
 
Teen counselors will tutor the needed children on basic subjects to assist to prepare them for the upcoming school year.

Arts and Crafts

Children learn the art of Collage, mixed media collage, ceramics and the fun of Food Art. Classes are hosted for an hour.

Teen requirement to participate in the Summer Escape Mentoring Program:  You will have had to have held at least a 3.0 grade point average during the 2008-09 school year. Note: Services performed will be considered volunteered.
